Money Quick Tips: Work at home opportunities

While there are a lot of work-from home schemes, there are also some viable options available that can help you make money.
In this Money Quick Tips, we show you how to find the legitimate work-at-home jobs and what it takes to score one.
Here are a few legitimate options:
• At vipdesk.com you can become a virtual concierge or customer service representative helping people plan travel, find home improvement contractors or deal with retail returns.
The job can be done from home and you can generally make $10-$12 an hour. Being bilingual can get you a leg up on getting one of the jobs since half of their brand ambassadors are bilingual.
Other options: alpineaccess.com, arise.com, workingsolutions.com and teleworkrecruiting.com.
• Freelance work can be found at elance.com. There are thousands of jobs posted and you submit a proposal for the work, IF chosen you agree to terms and deliverables with your new client.
• If you are an educator there are credible players in the growing field of virtual education: Tutor.com and K12.com.
In all cases, make sure you feel comfortable with the required technology before embarking on a work-from-home career.
